My Awesome School holidays!
I heard the loud song of the bugle, blasting through the large speaker as they played "The Last Post".
I saw the NZ & AUS flags blowing in the cool breeze as we remembered those who fought for us.
I felt proud to know that my grandfather and his dad fought for our country.
I Wondered how many past-soldiers were there and how many people were proudly wearing their loved ones medals.
Since my Grandfather's dad was not able to be there MY dad wore his medals from WWI.
That was my Awesome School holidays!
