Kia Ora,
my name is Blake. I am currently a year 8 student at Pompallier Catholic School and I am in Te Kahu Class.
My favourite hobbies are playing rugby, snorkeling and gaming.
My favourite colour is purple.
4 words to describe me are Sporty, Happy, Energetic and Kind.
My strengths are Mathematics, Sports and Gaming.
Something I want to work on this Term is my Writing because I ended the year on 4A and I really want to achieve at least a 5B.

Rugby World Cup 2019!!

In class we are learning to study different countries that are in the world cup.
I chose Fiji Because I think it is a cool country and I think they are good at rugby.

This is the art that I made to be presented at our Art And Cultural Festival thet we are having on Thursday.
My favourite part of this is the sky. I like the colors fade into lighter shades of blue.

Weight-Units Of Measurement

In class we are learning all about the different units of weight.
Here is my presentation about my understanding of the different units of measurement.

Taste Testing!

   

                                          Taste Tasting!     

At Mahi Tahi today we had an activity that required us to use Co-operation, Integrity and our senses.  

We had to blindfold ourselves and get ready to taste! The teachers came around with a cup of something whether it was a liquid or a solid, we had to use our sense of smell and taste to identify the food. Once we think we know what it is we have to describe it to our partner (who is also blindfolded) without using the name of the food. Your other teammates will write down your partners answer. From there our partners would take a guess on what our food was, purely from our dscription. Once you and your buddy have both had a turn tasting + guessing you both swap with your other teammates and they repeat the process.      

It was extremely fun and I would love to do it again!
